Runescape Guide - "the Skills to Train"

hello everyone, I cannot recall how many times I've gotten pm's from friends asking what skills they should train or whats a good way to make money.  Hopefully this guide will answer both of those questions, Enjoy!

Slayer

Slayer is a time consuming (bot-able) skill which is a must have for any self-respecting main account.  Your goals are going to be


85 slayer (abyssal demons)

Found in  Slayer Tower in Morytania, in Kuradal's Dungeon, and in the depths of the dark Abyssal Area
Money making with the regular drops is aroung 300k-400k/hr if you get a whip it can be 1.9m-2.3m/hr.

 90 slayer (dark beasts)

"Dark beasts are level 182 monsters found in the Mourner Tunnels on the path to the Temple of Light and insideKuradal's Dungeon." (quote from wikipedia)
Dark beasts drop dark bow which is currently worth about 450k they also drop other items that can make you about 300k-500k/hr depending on luck.


Hunter

Hunting is a common money making skill and has recently started to gain popularity and momentum due to grenwalls which can make you up to 1M/hr at current prices.


Red chinchompa's

when money making using hunter these litter buggers are going to be your best friend.  They are worth about 509 each and you can easily make 200k-300k/hr depending on your hunting level.




Mining

Mining is a very popular skill due to bots being able to gain 80+ mining and spam runite ore.


Lumbridge west-swamp mining addy/mith and world swapping makes about 120k/hr in f2p (f2p is crowded here)
runite mining you can make anywhere from 30k/hr to 700k/hr depending on luck!
